- User Interface
This section is used by your customers. Note that you may opt to disable this area, allowing your customers to simply communicate via email with swDesk. Create your own account by creating a ticket or registering.
- Technicians Interface
This section is used by your company’s support staff to track and reply to tickets.
- Administrators Interface
This section is used for system wide administration tasks. Note that some functionality is restricted.
- swDesk Notification Utility
This tool allows technicians to monitor ticket activity from their desktop, without logging into the web interface. Read more.
Download and install the swDesk Notification Utility. Add a new server with the following parameters:
Server Name: swDesk Demo
swDesk URL: http://www.devslide.com/demos/swdesk/
Access Key: SWDESK_NUPSWD
- How to test auto-reply feature?
To test the feature which automatically fetches POP3 mailboxes, please send a test email to email@example.com. Then log into the technician area and check for a new ticket in the General Inquiry department.
